Role in the project
Technical University of Denmark is responsible for leading the technical coordination and project management, ensuring smooth project implementation, and overseeing data management and ethics requirements. DTU also coordinates the demonstration of multi-imaging PV inspection using drones and contributes to the development of various project tools and methodologies.

Role in the project
Air6systems deliver drone inspection development, testing and demonstration tasks in order to achieve a fully-monitored, semi-autonomous PV panel inspection system, integrated into the wider SOLARIS ecosystem.

Role in the project
CIEMAT is responsible for the sustainability assessment of the demonstrated solutions. Done through conducting environmental, socioeconomic and economic assessments using Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), Multi-Regional Input-Output (MRIO) analysis, Life Cycle Costing (LCC) and the Levelised Cost of Energy (LCOE). These assessments will determine how the proposed solutions affect the costs of the PV power plant compared to a reference case.

Role in the project
Eilat is a demonstration site focused on optimising photovoltaic solar panel efficiency in three key locations: Rabin School (210kWp rooftop), Solar Park (60 MWp ground-mounted), and Agri PV (15kWp).

Role in the project
Elliot Cloud will contribute to the IoT connectivity, data management, interoperability, and data visualisation. Specifically, Elliot Cloud will lead the activities regarding the development of digital solutions for better maintenance & improved performance, as well as the data integration and interoperability specification activities.

Role in the project
emazys ApS will develop hardware and sensor electronics for PV systems to detect early electrical issues and improve maintenance workflows. Leveraging several patents in solar PV electrical analysis, we aim to create systems better suited for large-scale PV integration.

Euroquality is leading the communication, dissemination and exploitation activities to reach the most significant audience and promote the project results across external stakeholders and the general audience. Euroquality will also support the coordinator in the management of the SOLARIS project.

Heliocity will develop and test: an enhanced PV data analytics software, a field control app to improve technical operators' experience and a fleet management tool for predictive maintenance and preventive interventions.

Role in the project
PPC Renewables will manage the preparation stage and the final demonstration of the SOLARIS physical and digital solutions in the 2.64 MWp ground-mounted utility-scale PV plant in Thiva-Greece. Moreover, PPC Renewables is leader of the activities linked to the market uptake of the demonstrated solutions.

Role in the project
Ubimet will be developing tailored weather forecasting algorithms. These can be integrated into PV operators' planning tools, enhancing maintenance efficiency and safety. Moreover, Ubimet will provide precise energy forecasts and uses Machine Learning and AI to enhance the analysis of historical energy data.

Role in the project
Tekniker will develop customised sensors to monitor soiling rates and wind loads. In addition, Tekniker will develop additives for cleaning water to reduce soiling and increase performance. Tekniker will also work on an energy management system to optimally operate photovoltaic power plants with storage to achieve maximum penetration of renewables in the system and to maximize their revenues from market participation.

Role in the project
Wirtschaftsagentur Burgenland Forschungs- und Innovations GmbH will undertake the coordinate the demonstration on all the sites and are managing the demonstration site in Austria. Wirtschaftsagentur Burgenland Forschungs- und Innovations GmbH will provide access to small-scale private/commercial rooftop PV installed in a rural area and at an agricultural college campus to install and validate the software and hardware solutions.

Role in the project
University of Genova will work on photovoltaic panel monitoring using aerial drones. This will require several steps, including acquiring satellite images, segmenting PV panels using machine learning tools, planning routes for automatic drone inspection, and managing real-time drone navigation, coordination, and obstacle avoidance using real-time visual segmentation and GPS navigation.

Role in the project
Aalborg Universitet AAU will develop physics-of-failure-based reliability models for PV inverters to predict the lifetime of the inverter and develop reliability models tuning methods using condition monitoring signals from the power inverters.
