DTU also coordinates the demonstration of multi-imaging PV inspection using drones and contributes to the development of various project tools and methodologies.

CIEMAT is responsible for the sustainability assessment of the demonstrated solutions. Done through conducting environmental, socioeconomic and economic assessments using Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), Multi-Regional Input-Output (MRIO) analysis, Life Cycle Costing (LCC) and the Levelised Cost of Energy (LCOE). These assessments will determine how the proposed solutions affect the costs of the PV power plant compared to a reference case.

Tekniker will develop customised sensors to monitor soiling rates and wind loads. In addition, Tekniker will develop additives for cleaning water to reduce soiling and increase performance.
