The 23rd International Conference on Ubiquitous Robots (UR2026), held in Osaka, Japan, brought together researchers and professionals from around the world to explore the latest developments in robotics, automation, and autonomous systems.
As part of the SOLARIS project, researchers from the university of Genova had the opportunity to present recent work on the use of autonomous unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) for photovoltaic (PV) plant inspection, highlighting the potential of robotics and intelligent vision-based technologies to support more efficient and scalable operation and maintenance of solar energy infrastructure.
